Buddy Gore
Buddy Gore is co-founder of Tiger Wealth Solutions and an affiliate partner of Crescent Wealth Management. Buddy helps clients work toward their retirement dreams through a well-thought-out strategy for retirement income. A native of Conway, South Carolina, Buddy attended Clemson University on a football scholarship and was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year in 1967. He graduated from Clemson with a bachelor’s degree in 1969. In 1985, Buddy was inducted into the Clemson Hall of Fame, and in 1996, he became a member of Clemson’s All-Centennial football team. He was also inducted into the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000.
After graduating from Clemson, Buddy was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army and served two years. In 1972, he launched his own independent financial services firm. “For over 40 years, I’ve been blessed to help people with their life insurance and retirement income needs,” Buddy says. “We also help folks generate lifetime income that helps protect them from market risk.”
Buddy lives with his wife, Pamela, in Georgetown. They have been married for four decades and have one son, Buddy III. Buddy is a member of All Saints Episcopal Church on Pawleys Island and serves on the board of the Coastal Carolina University Philanthropy Initiative and on Clemson’s Board of Visitors. In his free time, Buddy enjoys golfing and spending time at the beach
